Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This place is great. Delicious food and quick service. We "yelped" local restaurants and this had nice reviews. We tried several different choices and all were good. The beef lo mien was a little dry for my taste but was good. Don't think you'd be disappointed if you tried them.

This is a much better than average Chinese take out restaurant. The ingredients are fresh, with abundant crunchy veggies and without the goopy, briney sauce prevalent in most Chinese-American dishes. Everything tastes homemade, and the serving sizes are huge. Yum!

While the service is pleasant there is nothing special about this place. The food is decent, the portions are enough for three meals, but the rice is kind of dry, everything is salted to death and the location is absolutely awful. This place is a trashy, run down take out restaurant on the side of a highway. There is no ambiance, invitation or anything exciting at all about the food, which is one color, bland and either too mushy or too chewy. Unfortunately, this is the only Chinese takeout place within ten miles of my home so there are no other options for anyone who wants a cheap, easy filling meal. That's the only really positive thing about Chen's, is that you can eat a full meal and feel as if you don't want to eat for another ten hours. There's a good price list for lunch, which is the same size just 3-5 dollars cheaper. Overall, good enough to eat, but not really good enough for a meal. I suppose you do get what you pay for.

This place is great-our first experience and my husband and I are sold. We live in Ellisville/Cedarville and have always been disappointed that there isn't good Chinese nearby. (The place in Manomet is gross as is Way Ho(rrible). I was very excited when he brought this menu home and we tried it tonight-fantastic. I had a craving for Thai so I was pleased that they had a Pad Thai option and I like that they let me combine two flavors (veggie and tofu.) The spring roll was delicious. My husband got General Tso's chicken and we agreed it is the best we've ever had. The sauce was so delicious and chicken was tender and cooked well. Can't wait for next time! Thank you Chen's Kitchen!!

Ordered takeout for 10 people. I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes at the time of ordering. After waiting for 70 minutes I finally received our food. Infuriating service.

This. Is. Amazing. So if you look through my reviews, you'll find that last year sometime, Rainbow Kitchen in Sagamore closed down, due to them knocking down the plaza for a Market Basket. This was very, very sad, as they had THE. BEST. taste:price ratio, and since then, I haven't been able to find a Chinese place to match their quality (and personality!). My girlfriend got a menu the other day in the mail saying this place was going to be opening soon. We went on the night they opened, and lo and behold, it's the same family that used to run Rainbow Kitchen. Score. Food: The quality has changed a little bit since their last endeavor. The rice is extremely tasty; not dry or too soggy, and they don't have the strange taste that most other Chinese places have that give that smoky, almost cigarette flavor. I picked up my favorite dishes that Rainbow used to make; the A16 (PFR, chicken fingers, boneless spareribs and beef teriyaki), and some sweet & sour pork, and was not let down by any means. The chicken fingers are huge, and full of meat. The boneless spareribs always taste fresh, and juicy, and the beef teriyaki......I don't know what they use for a marinade, but it's delicious. The sweet & sour sauce is made there at the restaurant, and has always been a favorite for putting on my rice. (Can you tell I feel strongly about this place? lol!) Atmosphere: The restaurant is right next to Mr. G's Pizza (the old Atlantic Pizza joint), and Olde Yankee Spirit Shoppe (the old Scusset Beach General Store). The location is right off of Rt 3 before the Sagamore Bridge, and across from the UPS shipping facility. Inside, they have a couple booths and tables to sit at, and the kitchen is completely wide open for you to see how the food is made. They have public restrooms, and the building is very, VERY clean and tidy. They don't have a TV or any kind of radio, so if you're looking to stay occupied while you wait, bring a smartphone or book. Wait time: This is a big part of take out places for me. Unfortunately, this place lives up to the reputation that Rainbow Kitchen had, and because of that, expect longer wait times during the dinner hours. On the grand opening night, I had to wait almost 4 hours for a small order that I was told was only going to take an hour, because of the sheer volume of orders they were receiving. Even when I was there the other night, just an order of rice took about an hour because of how busy they were. Take this into consideration. Personality: This staff is extremely nice and considering what you expect going into a Chinese joint, they speak very good English, and are willing to personalize your order however you like. I hate vegetables in my pork fried rice, and every time they do it without a question. If it's slow they don't mind talking with you, and are generally pretty sociable. The customers, however, could be a little more understanding. Rating: 5/5. If you want a new place to get Chinese that's in the Sagamore/Bourne area, definitely take the trip to Chen's Kitchen. You won't be disappointed.

My family got take-out from here after the "Summer Rush" when we typically see a substantial drop-off in food quality on the Cape. Not here, if anything it was even better.

So glad they came back! Great Chinese food! Store is clean and staff very friendly. I'm a fan!

I'm not giving Chen's 5 stars only because - let's face it - it's a takeout dive. There's no excuse for the generally run down grubbiness of the place after only a few months open. There are two tables with a couple of uncomfortable looking mismatched chairs for each. That being said, the grubbiness stops at the counter - the kitchen is open and clean. Go for the delicious food, take it away to eat at home or the beach and sate your Chinese food jones with good stuff. The food stands out for fresh preparation, nice seasoning and a great menu selection of tried & true plus some a few nice surprises like rice noodles and Pad Thai. Pork fried rice - dry, not greasy, delicious ($4.50 small, $6.50 large). Shrimp rice noodles- a huge order ($7.95) had about a half dozen big shrimp (cooked surprisingly perfectly) on top of delicately seasoned rice noodles, also cooked perfectly, not sticky. An appetizer order of chicken wings ($4.75 small, $7.95 large) was a big, overflowing box of 8 huge wings, all three joints, crispy and not at all greasy. My only quibble, having to break down the wings and throw away the tip. Marco Polo - some slices of beef, a few shrimp and lobster sauce that was more pork than sauce - yummy! All atop nicely seasoned lo mein noodles. BBQ boneless ribs ($4.95 small, $9.00 large) surprised me as well, as most of the pork was cut almost julienne sized which I really liked - no chunks of tough, unchewable pork in the order. Very fairly priced, (again, surprisingly) good food, nice people behind the counter, too. On a busy Friday night at 6:00pm the kitchen was flying, the phone ringing nonstop but my order was ready and waiting in the promised 10 minutes. I'm a believer, I'll go back and try some all day special combo plates ($8.55 to $9.25) . There are the usual cast of about two dozen luncheon special plates ($5.25-$6.00) that come with pork fried rice and an appetizer for an extra $1.75. Also all day plates ($6.25-$6.75) another couple of dozen that come with white or pork fried rice. Seriously, if you can't find a combo plate to suit you out of about 60 choices, you're too picky and you should stay home and microwave a Lean Cuisine! FINALLY - good Chinese food in Cedarville/Sagamore without having to drive over to Way Ho's and face the traffic circle of death!
